How do I prevent mold from growing on my clothes in a cupboard with an external wall?

Dehumidifiers are great. You can get small ones if you just have one damp area or ones that do the whole house.

Don't keep the door of the cupboard closed all the time. Let some air in there.

It could very well just be because the cupboard is colder than the rest of the house, in which case keeping the door open would probably help, and in general controlling the humidity in your house (heating and ventilation, and/or dehumidifiers). Filling those gaps might be an idea too. > buoyancy aid and Gill sailing jacket Also, are you sure those are bone dry before being put away? If there's an actual damp problem with the house itself (eg with the exterior wall) then you'd need to talk to your landlord about that.
