PC, not turning on after enabling Platform Key (PK) in the bios
Posted by Ladvace@reddit | buildapc | View on Reddit | 9 comments
Hi, so today I was resetting my PC to reinstall Win11, and working on it by mistake (more or less), I enabled Platform Key (PK) in the bios. After that, my PC was not turning on anymore.
when I turn it on both the CPU and GPU fan run, but no signal on the monitor, I see 3 red lights "alternating", CPU, VGA, and DRAM. I tried removing the motherboard battery to try to reset the motherboard but without much success.
tell me I didn't fuck up completely my PC.
motherboard: Aorus B450 AORUS ELITE
thanks in advance

Got this problem with the secure boot for Battlefield 6. I did the same mistake with PK but then i flash the bios with an usb key and it was all good. If you have the chance to have the option on your Mother board.
Then for those having this problem to activate the secure boot. Set Secure Boot Mode to "Custom" then click "Expert Key Management". If secure boot isn't in your bios desactivate "CSM" ONLY IF YOU GOT AN UEFI bios. For my case i desactivate CSM and the secure boot option appeared.
Then at the top of the screen, you should see "Vendor Keys" and "Valid".
If you do see "Vendor Keys" and "Valid", then you can click on "Restore Factory Keys". Don't reboot and check the status it should change to "User", "Enabled", and "Active". You are now safe to save and Exit the bios. This worked for me i have a B550 AX Elite V2 from Aorus.
Before doing anything prepare an usb key with your bios to flash it in case of wrong manipulations.
