I’m a couple degrees of separation from the pilot in question, met him before but don’t know him well.
He walked away from this, remarkably. Obviously gotta wait until the report but people in the know are talking about fuel exhaustion.

I’m not sure how that happens over south/central Texas. There’s a ton of air strips around here. To get cornered into landing on a roadway around here, you must have not looked at your fuel gauge in a very long time.

No information on status of occupants, but it hit 3 cars near an intersection while attempting an emergency landing.

Hopefully the props weren't powered. Looks like no fire so maybe out of fuel.
