Christmas Shopping at the Mall today

I’ve gotten a bunch of holiday shopping done online and too many little things have gone wrong to name them all. It’s a young person’s game where maybe a different set of expectations would help me handle the myriad of mistakes and fumbles by automation and algorithms. So I’ve had just about all I can take of fedex and StockX and Amazon.
But today I was by myself and hit the mall for a couple items to finish my list and everyone I ran into happened to be of my own similar age and man was the experience pleasant and easy. Honestly I should’ve done it all like this, the way it used to be. I was looking for some hard to find items and rare sizes but with real people in their early 40s working in retail made it easy today. I know I got lucky today but I just really had a great experience with helpful people in my age bracket that still have a high level of customer service and competence !
Happy Holidays to all the people of my generation especially - but to everyone else as well (except the machines who have already taken over)
