At summer Budapest Park, it’s a chill place, with concerts and afterparties.

If you are into alternative, indie type, than Turbina or Gólya.

You can also try Akvarium. It’s a big club in the center of the city.

Another club which is mainstrean for turist is Szimpla kert. Way better than Instant. Other mainstream clubs are Stifler, and Ötkert, I wouldn’t recommend these two, but still better than instant.

If you’re into techno and hard staff, Arzenál or D9 is your place.

If you like folkmusic Kobuci at summer, Fonó at einter.

That’s all I can think of right now. If you specify what vibe, or music are you looking for than maybe I can give you some more recomendations.

ive heard good things about arzenal and will check out D9, too. i liked how at instant they had some mainstream rooms but i preferred the techno/hardstyle rooms the most. i'll check out budapest park eventually, too.

i am within walking distance of instant (15 mins) so that's why we like it. went to simpli kurt but felt more like a cool bar for locals than a place to rave.

I don’t know what band he saw, so idk if it’s well known. He can check out Budapest Jazz Club, If Cafe, and another club which I forgot the name, maybe I’ll write it if it pops up. I’d recommend Oláh Kálmán, Balázs Elemér Group, Nagy Emma Quintet, Dresch Mihály, Dés László and Filc out of the jazz musicians. Also Loophia is jazzish pop.

They’re definetily worth staying. The party is going until the morning! But check what music they play in the night you’re going, in case you don’t like goa, but like hardstyle, etc.

Arzenal and D9 are a different ball game than instant.

Turbina is also EDM after 22:00. Often they also have raves in Dürer. Fabrika is also more like an underground techno place, but most parties are invitational. You can also try Analog Music Hall, however that wouldn’t be my first recommendation.
