Thoughts on this ASUS prebuilt from BestBuy? Intel Core i7-14700KF, 32GB RAM, 4070 SUPER, 2TB SSD

I've had this prebuilt PC in mind for a while now. Sometimes the price goes down to $1599 or so. I couldn't find specific demos or reviews in YouTube so I decided to ask you all here. I'm also open to the idea of building one myself but the savings might not be so much for a similar machine (I think). Thanks in advance!

I personally wouldn't touch anything asus until they've demonstrated a track record of not engaging in crazy anti consumer schemes. You can build a similar pc for about the same price right now with a better cpu and a case that is more "you". Also i wouldn't want to go with an intel 13700 cpu. They're in the booboo box with asus at the moment, and the 13700 cpus can potentially degrade.

Check rule #4. But the quick answer, not the best bang for buck, even at the sale price for a pre-built. Brands like Asus and NZXT have a pretty hefty uplift in price compared to the components.

You might not save much in theory but you can get much better quality components for the money. And it being asus you know they cheaped the hell out on any supporting components.
