Yup...they block it off ever year, for the last 20 years., for there 4th of July truck show...litteraly ever year we talk about the same thing on this sub.

Cool story. Still doesn't change the fact that a good hundred or more spots get taken for weeks while the US has a deficit of truck parking.

There's like 15 truck stops and 4 rest areas within a 20 mile radius of Wolcott. Theres over 1000 parking spots at this exit alone. If there's one area that can handle a truck show that takes up a hundred spots for a couple weeks this is it.

They have almost a thousand spots plus other truck stops around it. Riled up, just cause your basic bitch shit-box doesn’t stand a chance for Miss Congeniality….give yer nuts a tug, tit-fucker.

At least its somewhere with capacity to spare...and lots of other nearby options. I pulled up to the Hampshire, IL Love's once on my last few minutes only to find they had 1/2 the damn lot blocked off for a show and I was PISSED. Not a lot of other options in the evening around there with spots.

Honestly though Iowa 80 can get packed with oversize. Right now about half or more of the back 40 is oversize. It'll be completely full by 11.
