ULPT request: I need a fake diploma
Posted by ComprehensiveBat5113@reddit | UnethicalLifeProTips | View on Reddit | 81 comments
I unfortunately have very strict parents which caused me to lie about finishing my college and getting my degree. I had found a local website but unfortunately got scammed.. i really need this, or else they will somewhat take away the freedom i finally started to have. It has to be a diploma from a Dutch school.

Your parents didn't come to your graduation, or ask for grad pics? lol
tchuruck@reddit
Graduation ceremonies aren't a thing in most European universities
Fun-Dot-3029@reddit
Only the good ones ;)
(Kidding but only kinda)
heyitscory@reddit
Weird, I assumed that's why American universities did all that weird shit with the silly hats and the Hogwarts robes.
Did they stop cramming Latin into everything for fun too?
I guess the Jostens cartel isn't as powerful in the EU
Dr_A_Mephesto@reddit
I think the more suspicious statement is “it has to be from a Dutch school”…. So your parents think you graduated but don’t know which university you went to? 😅
So yeah probably for a job. Not sure why OP wouldn’t just say so. I saw a post here the other day about faking a degree for a job and that OP got tons of help.
ComprehensiveBat5113@reddit (OP)
Like I said in another comment, it is for the HVA, bachelor of law. I wont be using it for a job because i legally cannot.
Dr_A_Mephesto@reddit
But so your parents didn’t know what uni you were going to?
nopalitzin@reddit
Yeah, that's a funny fake story. Op probably just wants it to apply for a job without our judgment.
ComprehensiveBat5113@reddit (OP)
I am not using it for a job. And my parents dont live here
PizzaPuntThomas@reddit
Do they want you to send a physical copy to them? Because then you can say you only recieved one copy and don't want it to get lost in the mail. Or lie and say it turned out to be invalid (one school wrote the wrong law number on the diplomas) and then go to VAVO and get a real diploma.
Besides all of this, if they don't live here, how could they reduce your freedom?
ComprehensiveBat5113@reddit (OP)
They pay for everything, so basically i cant do anything without them
tush17@reddit
How did you get around them “paying for your school” ?
ComprehensiveBat5113@reddit (OP)
Because i did follow this particular studies. Its just not what i wanted. So i ended up dropping out. It is way too risky to tell them this and for me to do something i really like it left me no choice
Nacho0ooo0o@reddit
What would happen if they knew the truth? I hope you know this sort of thing is fairly common, but the relationships that cause this sort of distrust/power dynamic can have very serious reactions (and numerous real life cases where the shame of dropping out causes outright homicide to avoid telling the truth). Perhaps take this as an opportunity to be more real with yourself and your parents and know that you can live without their help if it comes down to it, but give them the opportunity to know you better and that includes the amount of stress it has put on you to the point where you're not comfortable even telling them of your failings.
Nikki-Mck@reddit
Can I ask what type of degree they think you graduated with?
DatCodeMania@reddit
so... they pay for your education also? man just get over urself and go get your diploma... be grateful for the opportunities you have in life
iSmokedItAll@reddit
Sounds like all my Indian co-workers with their Masters in IT/CompSci but complete inability to rename a file.
EatMeatGrowBig@reddit
My job called my grad school to verify. He can probably get away with it for a bit, but at some point they'll find out
JSBL_@reddit
mine didnt (europe)
tronaldrumptochina@reddit
hit up Western Governors University and you can get a real degree almost as quickly as it would take to find a fake one
Lamoneyman@reddit
Can you follow up on this how long does it take
tronaldrumptochina@reddit
friend of mine had his masters done in 2 months while working a full time office job
Lamoneyman@reddit
Well shit maybe I’ll do just to get one. It seems pay to play.
tronaldrumptochina@reddit
if your company bases pay grades off degrees, it’s a great option
gazorpadorp@reddit
OP clearly stated that it must be a diploma from a Dutch school.
jetfire245@reddit
Lmao I can get a fake degree in less than 12 hours.
WGU is definitely going to take a month or more if you're grinding.
unlistedname@reddit
You can get them made off Amazon, around $30 delivered. Worst case tell them it's for a film school movie prop or something. If it's dutch they probably won't look twice because they don't know the language.
This is a horrible idea that will come back to bite you in time but not hard to pull off.
bitterliquor@reddit
How old are you?
notreallyhowifeel@reddit
College so adult and you get your freedom from your parents? Lmao ok
Jwzbb@reddit
Become friends with the people in the copy room of UvA. Bribe them. Real diploma. Then social engineer someone from the students office to put it in the system.
t-o-m-u-s-a@reddit
Ive seen this movie
randy_maverick@reddit
Ask our upcoming Secretary of Education, Linda McMahon.
Secret-Sense5668@reddit
Yours maybe, not OP's. They're in The Netherlands.
BillHistorical9001@reddit
I’ve read so many cases like this that end very badly. Like the person here lying will have to make bigger and bigger lies until something very bad happens.
Zafrin_at_Reddit@reddit
Jaysus. Now, this is why we get all the priviledged kiddo talk. Parents paid for their studies abroad. Drops out. Tries to find a way how to lie about it.
This is not unethical. This is immoral.
ComprehensiveBat5113@reddit (OP)
I get that it sounds like that but its more complicated. Thanks.
sdswiki@reddit
Which school? What degree and concentration?
ComprehensiveBat5113@reddit (OP)
Bachelor of law, Amsterdam college (hva)
sdswiki@reddit
Can you find an example? I'll look around too.
ComprehensiveBat5113@reddit (OP)
Do you have any links? Like i mentioned, I already unfortunately got scammed.
sdswiki@reddit
search with vpn on us duckduckgo.com
billdb@reddit
I think they meant a link to where you can buy fake diplomas, not a link to a search engine lol

ComprehensiveBat5113@reddit (OP)
Please dont give me any kind of comments about a job or anything of that sort. I am not using it to get a job. And I did post this in ULPT, so im not asking for any type of ethical advise.
StrangerNo594@reddit
Message me i can help you out
Killaaalolita@reddit
Let me know if you find somewhere legitimate
CoralinesButtonEye@reddit
the impression this request gives of op is... not favorable
Jemeloo@reddit
There’s a doc about a young woman that had her parents murdered so they wouldn’t find out about her not going to classes or graduating college.
OP could be asking worse.
ARMill95@reddit
Also a dude who did the same thing and also was lying about getting a job at Tesla and faked an injury to postpone it, then when he got caught cuz his dad called the school murdered his parents
Lopi21e@reddit
The school murdered his parents...?!
fist_of_mediocrity@reddit
That's not a very polite thing for the school to do...
sitheandroid@reddit
The impression this gives of you realising what sub you're on... is not favorable

This is ULPT. The U is for UNETHICAL.
Ok_Tie_7564@reddit
You want advice on how to commit a crime against your parents?
ProfStorm@reddit
I'm pretty sure lying to your parents isn't a crime.
Ok_Tie_7564@reddit
It all depends. Using a forged document to obtain a financial advantage is likely to be frowned upon in many jurisdictions.
ProfStorm@reddit
OP isn't using it to get a job, they just want it to placate their parents, which still isn't a crime no matter how much you frown upon it.
6Darkyne9@reddit
Yeah OP better watch out for the parent police, theyll put him infront of the parent judge and get sent so parent prison
Godzirrraaa@reddit
They’re gonna find out when you don’t get hired by any firms.
ComprehensiveBat5113@reddit (OP)
Im not using it to get a job of any kind. Im going to follow another major.
PizzaPuntThomas@reddit
Tell your parents you are going to do a different major and say you accidentally switched too early, so the system didn't grant you a diploma.
ComprehensiveBat5113@reddit (OP)
Im not using it to get a job, im gonna start a new studies.
JackStraw310@reddit
Hehe David Geffen over here…

This is an Accepted situation waiting to happen.
baby_jesus23@reddit
Had a very similar situation recently. Go to staples. Buy. The certificate paper that comes with the software. The certificate paper is optional with different borders in gold or blue metallic. You can get the e display as well (but they are pricey here in the states- like $40-$60 at staples) but the software is dope. Pick a format and font and put whatever you want. They look super professional. Just find a pdf of the school logo or whatever. If you can find an image of a diploma from the same school it will help.
Beginning-Comment944@reddit
Op said Dutch school

Veel succes hoor.
