2 days in Dallas

I have 2 free days in Dallas and I was hoping for some recommendations or a game plan for my first visit. I'll be with my 6 year old with a car.
Wed: I was planning to take him to the Crayola factory in Plano and then stop by Buccees in Denton. The rest of the day/evening we are free.
Thursday: Six Floor Museum. I know it's not suitable for a 6 year old, but this is a place I want to visit for my self. In the evenings maybe take her to a rodeo in Ft. Worth. Can i spend a few hours at the Stockyard? Any places you guys can recommend in between?
I would like some bbq recommendations, but i bet a bunch of them will be 100x better than where we're coming from (SF).
Thank you.

Something a 6 YO would enjoy and could spend an entire day at: https://usa.kidzania.com/en-us/
Nearby KidZania is Hutchins BBQ. Prepare for the long line unless going during senior citizen dining hour or getting to-go. Get the moist brisket, pork ribs, and/or twinkie. Save room for free complimentary peach cobbler, banana pudding, and soft serve ice cream.

Your first two stops will eat up most of your day with about 3 hours of driving time alone. Maybe more with traffic.

Perot Science Museum and maybe the Dallas world aquarium, too

I recommend taking the train downtown to do cool stuff, including the museums. Driving and parking in downtown Dallas sucks, but you can avoid it for $3 to $6.
Terry Blackās BBQ is very good and is in Deep Ellum, and is very accessible by train.
