Bulk Rock/Stone/Brick Disposal

Old homeowners had an ugly fountain installed in the backyard, finally got around to destroying it. Now the issue is getting rid of all this rock. Anyone have any suggestions on where i can dispose all of this?

Sent you a message. I can probably help you get rid of it for free.

The dump in Melissa is probably your best bet. We did something similar with a cement pad at our last house. We loaded the chunks into the pickup and hauled it down there. I forget what it cost but it wasn't much.

McKinney C&D Landfill is a better option if it's clean (not mixed with other trash). They are closer, and for stone/brick/concrete they do not charge if it's clean.

Not only the "best bet" but also the only way you can get rid of rock debris in Plano.

Based on what I am reading in the accepted materials policy, you'll have to take it directly to the 121 landfill and can't use the transfer stations.

Put an ad on Craigslist for free rocks/bricks and someone will take it off your hands.
My dad had a a bunch of river rocks in his front yard that looked awful and after we posted the ad, I had about 6 people inquiring by the end of the first day

If you’ve got the nextdoor app, try putting it in there. I had a similar situation and my stones were gone in about an hour, and there were more people that wanted them. Just make sure you tell em they’ll have to load and move it.
