So you end up with two strangers on FaceTime holding each other accountable to finish doing a chore. We all need a cheerleader sometimes to help finish folding the laundry and dusting the floorboards... right?

Yes, there are apps like that targeted toward people with ADHD. If you search online for "body doubling app," tons of them will come up. One in particular I've heard good things about is Focusmate.

I'd gladly do chores not to FaceTime people. Perhaps it's a timer where it automatically FaceTimes someone (anyone) at a particular point if you don't take a pic of the completed chore.
