I love this episode. Absolutely banger for a teaser.
Question though: if the Deja vu feeling was cumulative over time, wouldn't the Bozeman crew have realized they were in a loop before they were rescued?
Think about it, because I can’t make it make sense. What causes the loop is the collision. This indicates the Bozeman crew had only looped as many times as the enterprise. So I guess the temporal anomaly sent the Bozeman forward in time and that was interrupted by the collision which started both ships looping.
Yeah, so that's kind of my thinking, too. I guess it just pulled them forward in time. It kind of undercuts the quiet tragedy of it, though. These poor guys, presumed lost on their maiden voyage, stuck in an endless loop while everyone they know and love grows old and dies. The effect is still the same, but somehow, the idea of them being in a loop for 80 years is so much sadder than being randomly pulled ahead 80 years. Then again, it was sad to think of the Enterprise C coming ahead 22 years, so who knows.
If a Klingon dies while in a timeloop, do they constantly keep getting yanked out of Stovokor when it resets or does each copy stay there and eventually you have hundreds or thousands of the same person there?
Yeah I had thought that as well but all the background stuff was still going (eg the red alert) on as usual so that doesnt work. At least that's what I recall but it has been a while since I've seen it.
Some days I feel like everyone on this sub is watching tng at the same rate I am. But it's probably just some ai algorithm synchronizing these recommendations to my reddit feed.

Trick question. Every episode is a great episode.

except maybe code of honor but things did improve after the first couple of seasons
Starbugmechanic@reddit
I think code of honor is better than the one with the candle.
PuzzleheadedProgram9@reddit
This is true. I look at code of honor as a learned experience.

There is no honour in this question! storms off in Klingon huff
sqplanetarium@reddit
I'm just so pleased that Klingons also get deja vu and it's not a human-only phenomenon.

They should have listened to Worf, just changed course. Episode over! See you next week!
mybadalternate@reddit
If they listened to Worf, there’s never be any episodes!
