So I'm in the process of upgrading my CPU and I'm kind of stumped on which one to upgrade to.

I play 1080p and have a 144hz monitor and the only real competitive games i play are CS2 and Valorant, when i play single player i usually like to up the graphics setting a little more and as long as its stable I'm okay with it. (not a has to be 144FPS all the time type of guy would much rather have it look prettier at the cost of FPS).

With that said i have currently a Ryzen 5 3600X paired with a 2070 Super, I'm debating on weather i should buy a Ryzen 7 5700X3D or a Ryzen 9 5900X and later in 2025 ill upgrade to a 4060/70 (haven't decided).

Which one would you suggest and why? Thanks for all the help!
