Looking to Upgrade

I am looking to upgrade my pc as I have been slowly over the course of the last year or so. my current list of specs is listed on PCpartpicker below. I am wanting to maybe get more RAM (which may not be needed) as well as a new CPU as this one is dated and a new motherboard because I don't think mine is compatible with the new CPU's any suggestions on which products I should look at that would be compatible with the new CPU.

My main reason for upgrading the performance isn't quite as high and I am assuming it is a CPU bottleneck issue. I could be wrong so some information there would be great as well.

Potential CPU Upgrade is I7-14700KF
Potential SSD upgrade Samsung 990pro M.2 2TB

I am uncertain about which motherboard to look at as I am not confident in the compatability.

you are going to have to get new ram anyway because youll need DDR5 ram you currently have DDR4

Also that psu... you are massively overspending, $400 for a psu is insane theres no need for it at all
