Last time I went there it was £14 for two people. It is now £36 for the same activity.
What am I not understanding here regarding the massive price jump?

I Was literally saying this to my wife today! We've just booked with some family for the Xmas holidays. It's nearly double for adults and more than tripled for kids?!? We went in August last year and it was £4.99 per child and £9.99 per adult (checked my order confirmation). It's now £17.99 each!! Outrageous. £72 instead of £30?! It was also an hour session last year, now 45 minutes. So frustrating.

Yeah, today I will just go outside for free!!

It was 2003 when you last went

We’ve been going for a few years with the kids and it’s never been that cheap when we’ve been
Extreme-Acid@reddit (OP)
I looked at an old receipt in an email, in 2021 cost 6.99 each

If you Google “sledging £6.99” it comes up with a. banner saying summer prices, £6.99Not sure if they change through the year, also found a page on their website where it shows the prices at £7.99. We went 2 years ago at Xmas and it was £12.99 per person, this year £17.99

People defending corporate greed is sickening
Staff wages haven’t doubled
Insurance hasn’t doubled
Rent hasn’t doubled
Yet the price has doubled
Not just this activity and not just this year
Stop defending corporate greed

Do you even run a business. Almost everything has increased exponentially. Rates, energy, wages etc etc Less foot fall. You just have to look at the NIC debacle to know more prices will go up

The price of snow business
rockandrollmark@reddit
Well, there is no business like snow business…
mr_bonner94@reddit
Economics they also have to abide by paying huge utility bills, keeping up with paying a living wage to staff, insurance, everything costs a lot more now and without you telling us when you went we can’t even contextualise the difference cos if you went 20 years ago that price difference isn’t that par if it was 2 weeks ago fair enough
Sedulous280@reddit
Every activity has risen to eye watering amounts. You can burn 🔥 £100 without even blinking these days. Only thing that hasn’t gone up is income from wages

Energy costs have sky rocketed for businesses along with inflation
