I currently have a Ryzen 5 1600 in an Asus Prime B350M-A. Crucial Pro 32GB ram (2x16gb), running Windows 10 64-bit.

I'm getting frustrated with slowdowns and slow rendering times in Ableton Live 12.1. Wondering if upgrading to a Ryzen 5600 or 5800 would help. Has anyone else done this specific upgrade?

I've got a lot of projects to wrap up these next couple of months and I can't afford any hiccups or downtime due to technical issues. I've built and upgraded PCs before, but this specific board has given me many headaches.
