Ive upgraded the cooler and ive noticed i cant get to power supply and im pretty sure the motherboard is a custom one.

I think all you have to do to access the PSU is take off the back cover.
You can get a decent AM5 Mobo for about $150-175 these days, but the 9800x3d is pretty expensive right now because it just released and the demand for it is extremely high.
I personally think you should wait a bit(your current PC specs are enough to run most games already) for the CPU prices to lower.

Tried looking at that It’s like stuck in a box and I plan on doing that gonna get the 9800x3d for 450 ish

Wdym “a box?” The PSU is box-shaped so that might be the PSU itself.
Regarding the trade, it’s pretty difficult to trade individual PC components compared to a whole PC. If you plan on trading your current PC, you should trade it for a PC with a AM5 CPU, so you dont need to change the Mobo or RAM when you decide to pull the trigger for the 9800X3D CPU.

Main question is if the trade is fair or good for me
