Ive had a prebuild for about 2-3 years and is still decent but i hate the look of the case ( here is the one got https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sku/6479741.p?skuId=6479741&sb_share_source=PDP ) was wondering if i should just case swap or take the time and build my own

If you don't want to spend money on a new PC, doing a case swap is just fine. I also did a case swap from an iBuyPower pre built into a Corsair 220t. If you want it to last a bit longer then upgrade that GPU.

Do you have any recommendations for a GPU? I dont really know alot about that.

How much are you willing to spend? An upgrade from your current card might land in the realm of $450-$850. If you get a high end GPU you'll want to upgrade other parts as well
