Former trucker, wanting to dispatch.

If I am putting this in the wrong subreddit, please inform me. So I can re-adjust and put it in the right subreddit. But I got my Class A CDL. I no longer am driving but I am wanting to get into dispatching/broker. I am trying to find videos and stuff online on how to get into it and what I need to learn but I see a ton of courses and stuff. I don’t wanna be paying to learn. I saw a comment on YouTube saying a lot of videos and people offer courses that you pay for but they don’t even offer real world experience and you don’t gotta pay to learn this field. I mean it may come with faster better results but I’m not looking to pay to learn. I’d rather work for someone that would train me at a lower rate than pay. Is there any companies that would train me and pay me?

Might wanna just look up trucking companies and call them asking for dispatch positions. I know companies are hiring them, though the positions are much more competitive than a driving job. As for brokering...that would probably be something that I would call a place about, CH Robinson or whatever amd just ask. Asking questions is always free
