Advice on identifying a good deal on used PC

So I'm in need to upgrade my setup to play modern titles at 4k which my 7700k and gtx 1080 can't do. With a budget of around 1k, I'm looking at used rigs on marketplace to fit the bill. Although it's been such a long since building out a PC, I'm a bit out of touch with pricing on things and could use some advice on what would be considered a good deal in the used market.
This will be my first time buying a used PC, and I know everyone's warning on doing so. But if the seller doesn't seem shady and everything checks out in person I feel fairly confident in going that route.
Currently, I'm looking at a PC for $900 asking price with the following specs.
Zotac RTX 3080, i9-9900k @ 3.6GHz, 32 GB ram (unknown what type), 1.5tb storage, 850 psu.
Around what price range should I expect to get a used PC for, with an rtx 3080 at a minimum for the GPU?
