Hate to defend a toll road, but this just isn’t how it works. DNT despite being a toll road is already usually overcrowded, and if it was a free highway, it would be like going through the Arlington freeways on Cowboys game days. Adding more lanes or infrastructure just invites more cars on the streets. I’m not saying we necessarily shouldn’t do so, or that I don’t hate toll roads, I absolutely cannot stand the dynamic ones that charge you as much as $20 in 5 minutes at times, but the root of the issue is the rapid growth that Dallas and the surrounding metroplex has seen with very little expansion of the majority of the city’s infrastructure, including public transit. I personally don’t like DART, or TRE, never used TEXRAIL, but I would expect the same result. Either way, they’re never convenient for me in 99% of cases.
If you take a screenshot with CarPlay on it will grab the CarPlay screen too and then you can save either, or, or none because you were just putting your phone back in your pocket and got the screenshot by accident.
The Beatles apparently didn’t want to play for segregated audiences after their first US tour so thats probably why they never came back to Dallas since they disbanded in ‘70
That actually makes a lot of sense. I'll have to look into that more. I do think Paul did straighten up a bit when the reporter brought up the Presidential area of Dallas so I do think current events were on their mind.
The Beatles due to play here again, they haven't been here since September '64. I'm going to send their manager an email and suggest they play here again soon.

Holiday traffic it'll be bad until the end of the year when it culminates with a night filled with drunk drivers getting into wrecks all night long.

Imagine if the DNT hadn't been purchased and converted to freeway use how useful that rail line would be today.
