I just love me useful trucks

my guess is that if they're going with so many attacks with 1950s vintage AFVs, dirt bikes and golf carts that there isn't much room in the budget for armored URAL trucks behind the front line. Well, unless they intend to use trucks in the assault role I guess.

Second one is now burning in Kursk.

That expo ‘desert’ camo is so aesthetic

The funny part is that the tanker doesn't have a 360° cover, only the sides have extra plating.

They had also made separate mine resistant cabs that can be installed in place of a standard one on Ural or Kamaz chassis.
Mundane-Contact1766@reddit
Wait really ? Did it work?
Nemoralis99@reddit
Well they presented it at last year's expo Army-2023 and even delivered some to the frontline, I haven't seen the photos of destroyed ones, so they are either exceptionally sturdy, or being preserved until later

Theirs been a few photos of these intact I’m pretty sure - but cab overs are intrinsically poor for mine protection regardless
Mundane-Contact1766@reddit
So effective or ineffective?
StukaTR@reddit
oh god these are so spectacular
Mundane-Contact1766@reddit
Tbh it look cool

Front bumper is "civilian type" (military spec Urals' headlights are placed on fenders and civilian spec ones' are placed in bumper, due to national highway regulations i think)... what a disguise😁
Disastrous_Ad_1859@reddit
I figure that the trucks probably aren’t technically military so must comply
