Remember to ensure the firmware on the sn770 has been updated to latest version so that it's compatible with win11 update 24h2.
Other than that, seems fine to me. The 7600x3d bundle is also an option worth looking into.

How would you go about ensuring the firmware is updated if you’re doing a new build and don’t have another PC that you can install the drive into?

Dude is upgrading, I assume that means he already has a system to do the update on.
Otherwise asking the seller is the best bet. If buying in person you may even be able to get them to do the update for you on the spot.
Alternatively, install win10 first, update firmware, then go from there.

Was asking for myself because I’ll be doing a new build with an SN850x soon, but after doing some additional searching it seems like these issues may not apply to the 850x.

Yup, it doesn't affect the sn850X. It's an issue with HMB cache on dramless WD drives.

7600X3D bundle is better for only gaming. If you do any productivity however, stay 7700x.

Get the 7600x3D bundle instead.
