My grandparents were all about the slide shows after their travels. They are long gone but I have a small collection of their slides. Not that I have a slide projector of course but hey.

You can get a good flatbed scanner that can also scan slides for a reasonable price these days. And while the old Kodak Carousel was discontinued decades ago, I’m sure they can be found on eBay—get spare lamps while you still can.

My parents did this with all their underwater photos. They were underwater photographers.

so glad me and sis never endured that torture.. we did in school though.. my god i remember 5th grade teacher showing us his vacation pics of Europe ..
