Asking for a friend, that friend is in my driveway and yes it’s a 2007 1/2 dodge 2500

Not quite from factory no. Is it an extremely reliable engine? Yes. Would people say it is as reliable as a Ford 7.3 or 5.9 Cummins? Probably not due to emissions equipment that's more prone to failure.
Some major items are the heater grid bolt, EGR, and dog systems. Trans are from aisin, which seem to be fairly reliable (better than dodge teams found in the 1500s).
I'd you use the truck how the engine wants to be run, then it will last a long time. Maybe with some minor mods, many people would call it bulletproof, sure.
