Anyone have a recent labor/delivery experience at Dallas presbytarian hospital?

Our OB/gyn works out of Dallas Presby and i'm looking to see if anyone has any positive or negative reviews of the hospital. We did a tour recently, and although it was remodeled, it did feel little sterile and cold in the rooms. Also the birthing rooms were in the basement. Anyone have any feedback about their experience?

I’m was born there in 1985 and I’m still alive, 39 years and still going. 10/10 would recommend.

I have two children born there in ‘21 and ‘22. I think we were the first or second people to use one of the remodeled rooms! Great experience with the nurses and hospital staff. The basement thing is a little odd but didn’t bother me. You’ll spend more time in the recovery room. My second came super quick and it was nice to be able to pull into the garage right by the entrance to L&D 😂

My daughter was born there in 18. She came out fast and had fluid in her lungs. They took immediate action in getting her lungs cleared. She had to stay in the NICU for about a week then moved over to a ward for newborns that need extra care and monitoring initially until her breathing patterns normalized. Overall my experience with the hospital was pretty positive and they’ve have a good reputation. As far as cold and sterile that’s normal for a hospital. It’s like that to limit the growth and spread of germs.
