ULPT Request: What can be done with a vehicle title?

I have a vehicle title (pink slip) for a vehicle I do not own. My name is not attached to this vehicle in any way and I don’t know where the vehicle is/who it belongs to (beyond the name on the title).

What, if anything, can I do here to benefit me?

Nothing legal. But you could buy a similar vehicle without a title for cheap and hope the DMV records aren't good enough to catch you. Budget daily driver or resell it after re stamping the vin.

You are going to jail eventually if you are in the US.

Nothing really. If you had a vehicle that was the same kind, you could attempt to register it. Here they will go out to the vehicle and verify the VIN. I have 4 titles and the VIN that goes on top the dash. Scrapped the vehicles.
