upgrade novice

hello all. im looking to upgrade my PC before it its incredible expensive to do so. when i first build mine i used a build guide from PC part picker. now im going over the sea of info and its kinda hard to under stand it all. im mostly looking to get really the best i can so i can hold off for years. any tips on to upgrade? thanks!
CPU: amd ryzen 7 3800x
GPU: geforce rtx 3070
Motherboard: tuf gaming x570-plus (wifi)
RAM: 48 gb ddr4
Storage: 2t sdd
PSU : evga supernova 750 P@
from my research it seems my cpu is causing a bottle neck

Could drop a 5700X3D in there (given bios update) or GPU, or both.
You have 24GiB of ram? How many sticks and which frequency/latencies?

opps forgot to mention. mainly to game, if i need it to do something else later il do more research on that. my cpu needs an upgrade the most i imagine. might also get a RX 7900 XT because im not sure what prices will look like in usa
yes 48GiB. i have 4 sticks, 2 of which are 8GiB and the other 16. my frequency is 1064.5 MHz and lat is 15.o clocks

Your ram speed is handicapping you CPU considerably. It directly impacts CPU performance.
Are your 16GiB sticks the same? Odds are they have capacity to go faster...
