International Student: Is It Easier to Get a Driver's License in Texas Compared to Boston?

Hi everyone,
I’m an international student currently trying to figure out where to get my driver’s license. I’ve heard that the process is easier in Texas compared to Boston (or Massachusetts in general). Is there any truth to this? Are the requirements or tests significantly different between the two states?
Also, if anyone has suggestions on resources for getting a driver’s license (like driving schools, online courses, or other prep materials), I’d really appreciate it. What kind of courses would be most helpful, and are there any red flags I should watch out for when choosing a driving school?
Thanks in advance! 😊

Have you previously held a permit or license in any country? Which one(s)? Some states have reciprocity agreements. If your situation allows you to move to another state in order to get a license more easily, it may be worth considering.

Aren't you in Texas though? You can only get a license in the state in which you reside. Right now, you can only get a license in Texas. If you're going to move to Massachusetts, then you can get one there once you establish residence. I'm not familiar with the exact differences between the two states, but they likely have very similar requirements.
