MA driving test failed

I took my driving test today for the second time. The examiner came, I did the hand signs, showed the blinkers, then he tell me put the parking brake on, put the car in drive and hit the gas. I revved a little and he tells me to really put my foot down and the car jerked forward and he rejected my car. Is this legit ? Can I get my money back? Was he just a dick? Help

Fellow MA driver here.
The examiner definitely could have worded that better (unless it was a goad to see if you'd do something unsafe under pressure) but they want to know not only that the brake can hold up to some reasonable amount of power from the engine, but also that you know enough to safely rev up to but not beyond that amount in a short time.
They may have felt that you were acting too 'afraid' of your own vehicle, which is not a promising start; they may have simply been impatient and wanted to get on with it; or ...
Yeah, maybe you just got unlucky. The rigor of various aspects of the test absolutely varies with location, time, and who you draw to be your examiner on the day. Sometimes you just end up with someone who likes pushing a nervous applicant to see how well they stick to safety, or who has a very low threshold for what they consider "unacceptable."
The closest match to this situation I could find in the official guide is
which isn't exactly the situation you describe so I wouldn't bet on the RMV issuing a refund. You can ask (this is a question they have likely heard before) but they probably won't give your money back if you pre-paid the testing fee.
The good news is that if this is attempt #2 you still have several attempts left before the time required between attempts gets way longer. Schedule again in a few weeks, get in a little more supervised driving time with your sponsor, practice testing the parking brake in a place where it won't hurt anything if you overdo it, and you'll probably do fine.
