First PC for gaming/VR and help with RAM

This would be my first PC, being a lifelong console user. I would be using it basically only for gaming, including some VR since I already have a Quest 3 and want to try PCVR with it.

I'd advise you to do some reading on AMD vs Nvidia GPUs for VR. AMD competes in raster, but nothing else, and they are years behind Nvidia in encoder performance, this is especially true for Quest 3 which requires encoding before streaming to the headset.
AMD had massive issues at release with this gen, the 7900XT/X were actually performing worse than the 6900XT, and it took them a good 6 months to get them to parity. That's just absurd.
For a wired headset like the Reverb or Index, you could make an argument for an AMD GPU (a difficult one, but one could be made). For a Quest? I wouldn't even consider AMD an option.

For what I've seen, the 7000 series cards work decently for VR nowadays. And Nvidia is a bit out of my budget right now, specially the ones with more VRAM (Games like VRChat require a lot apparently) over here something like a 4070Ti Super is almost twice the price of a 7800XT, A 4060Ti 16GB is the same price.
