Better than Concorde, I think the front aircraft is a VIASA Convair 880.

I didn't know the Concord went to Venezuela. Interesting.

Lots of money from the oil industry in the 70's, lots of people who could afford to travel on the Concorde

My wife and I had our honeymoon at Macuto near Caracas in 1986, well before the communist fuckers wrecked the country.
maddentim@reddit
Right? If the concorde was still flying today, I cannot imagine it going to Caracas!

It's day 28, the subsonic planes still haven't given any indication that they have noticed I'm here. I suspect they have begun to accept me as one of their own.

I remember sitting on the beach at Macuto watching a Concorde taking off for Paris! (1977)

Yes, with a fuel stop a small island, Santa Maria, Azores.

Idk dawg I definitely don’t wish a ticket from London to New York would cost $10,000.

Well to be a nitpicker, a DC8 was the only subsonic airliner to exceed mach 1 before Concorde, at least that one testing elevator flutter over Edwards AFB! Rumor of at least one Convair 990 doing the same can’t be confirmed…I grew up in Venezuela and always thought the VIASA livery was beautiful, and the shape of Concorde is still a thrill today❤️❤️

This story appears in various forms, one involving a Concorde out of Caracas; another involving a Concorde and SR71 in Shanwick control area. But, regardless of veracity...enjoy (I included both links - one for Snopes possibly)
Just imagine... two guys in bonedomes and full pressure suits, in a cramped cockpit, watching something like a hundred people in shirt sleeves or summer dresses, sipping their champagne and maybe just starting on their smoked salmon hors d'oeuvres, flying at their altitude and nearly their speed...."

There's a very similar and probably the original story here: https://theaviationgeekclub.com/air-traffic-controller-tells-the-story-of-when-he-asked-for-vertical-separation-to-an-sr-71-blackbird-crew-in-conflicting-route-with-a-concorde-supersonic-airliner/

Bunch of DC-8s and a couple 707s other than the pretty French bird?
