I'm reposting this anytime BlackRock gets mentioned -
In October of this year, just weeks before the election, CEO Larry Finch told an audience that he couldn't care less who wins the elections because global markets won't be meaningfully impacted.
Larry and friends aren't concerned with the silly games we play every 4 years. BlackRock is the largest asset manager on the planet.
Wall Street wins every election.
dahjay@reddit
They're pricks too. A very arrogant group who think they know everything.
Comfortable-Eye-8391@reddit
They do know everything. I suspect they have more relevant intel than the CIA or Mossad. This is the information age.
likeupdogg@reddit
I suspect many of them are one and the same as the CIA or Mossad. The elites all have intricate connections to each other.
Comfortable-Eye-8391@reddit
Absolutely. Plenty of NGOs, private consultants and "think tanks" are either from intelligence, or eventually they try to recruit them. It's a revolving door, a small club, and we ain't in it.
Eve_O@reddit
It's disappointing to realize that the all seeing eye of the Illuminati is only a small group of people who steer and exploit the trade of money, goods, and services.
There's no magic, no gods, no grand design: merely avarice twisting annually through quarters and projections.
datsmamail12@reddit
I agree with you, people seem to think of them like some sort of gods. No. They are mere idiots like us with a lot more money. If the bubble pops, they'll lose most of it and someone else will come to play silly little god with new mistakes. It's happened before, it'll happen again. Always think!these guys are idiots like us.
endadaroad@reddit
They have a much higher opinion of themselves than any of the rest of us could ever achieve. I cringe at even the thought of making planet altering decisions that affect the lives of everyone else. Most of us are satisfied with having enough. Those people will never be satisfied as long as we have anything. They want all of it.
datsmamail12@reddit
Those that want everything will end up with nothing. Owning all the worlds gold means that gold has no value anymore. Once they get all of it,people will find see that there's no value on money anymore. So long as people can fees themselves and have a roof on top of their heads there won't be any revolutions, but once they have amassed so much gold that people start starving, that's when they'll lose all of it. We still have a lot of years ahead of us before this starts. The French Revolution is a proof of all that, you think that because we have iPhones now that people will not take guns to shoot at these idiot playing gods? If anyone takes your food and makes you live in a cardboard along with a few hundred thousand other dudes outside, trust me,your iPhone will become a weapon! We are not any different than any other generation, the technology is only different. War,war never changes!

Blackrock doesn’t make anything
morgothra-1@reddit
But they own it.
B4SSF4C3@reddit
Negative. They manage it. Investors own it - if you have a retirement plan, it’s likely you own it.
Comfortable-Eye-8391@reddit
Over half of the assets they manage are specifically public pensions
-_katahdan_-@reddit
The investors of the companies blackrock owns don't make shit either. It's just a pyramid scheme of capital flowing in hands that aren't producers ie labor.
morgothra-1@reddit
That's an excellent explanation of their business model for those who are unaware.
I admit I took liberties with the term 'own' but it's important to acknowledge that the leverage they over said companies is quite substantial nonetheless.
0verdue22@reddit
useless? they're invested in every single company that matters. go and look for yourself - name an important company that is publicly traded, then go see who their top institutional investors are. odds are blackrock is in the top three, in almost every case. not defending them here, it's obvious they're the bad guys, but...
Alarming_Award5575@reddit
Spot on. They are acquiring everything that matters.
rematar@reddit
I don't think it will matter when the bubble pops.
It's like a kid playing monopoly with money from multiple game sets tucked into their underpants. Once they have a true monopoly, the other players are no longer able to participate, and the paper money becomes worthless.
Alarming_Award5575@reddit
Nah man. They will own the assets that make the work work. Bubble or no bub le rents will be extracted.
rematar@reddit
Not if we're trading socks for light bulbs.
Alarming_Award5575@reddit
Do they go through a port?
rematar@reddit
If the dollar collapses, what does a port have to do with it?
Alarming_Award5575@reddit
Good still move. Infrastructure still operates.
rematar@reddit
When currents collapse, it's no longer business as usual.
When currencies collapse, it's no longer banking as usual.
Alarming_Award5575@reddit
Of course not, but that doesnt mean intl trade goes to zero. Infrastructure doesnt evaporate
morgothra-1@reddit
They can keep their damned bulbs. Warm feet are not negotiable.

They obviously don't know shit about how to be moral. Neither do the people who invest through/with them. A bunch of vampires and parasites.

unless you've seen one up close, which i have.
it was back in the early 90s, my friend and i were walking home late one night from work and it flew right overhead. only about 100' up or so, flew rather slowly. it was a huge disk with lights around the edges.
we watched it for several seconds, then it took off straight up faster than a bullet and disappeared into space.
anyone who does due diligence on this subject knows it's legit. you sir are just another a low-information rube

The 2 trillion dollars he plans to cut from the national budget won't be coming from their coffers.
LivefromPhoenix@reddit
Not directly but the overall decrease in economic activity will still hurt. But its a moot point, fiscal conservatism is dead and republicans won't be making any serious cuts to the budget.

chr0nic_eg0mania@reddit
In real illuminati doing bad things? Of course, with all the power they got, they do what they want because they can get away with. Remember Ghoslaine Maxwell revealed the names of the people who went to the island and nobody fucking knows who are those people listed? Yeah...
BTRCguy@reddit
Let me ask what should be an obvious question. Given that:
Is it possible to manage that much in assets without contributing to climate and human rights abuses?
B4SSF4C3@reddit
It’s impossible to run an S&P500 index ETF without contributing to all of the above and more. That’s how index funds work. They buy everything. The only decisions made is how best to track an index. There’s never the choice of whether to buy a name in the index or not: they must - they are legally obligated to.
nullcore@reddit
At that point, they're not so much contributing, as they are spearheading.
Comfortable-Eye-8391@reddit

Now this is what justice feels like( will they slip the responsibility somehow? Yeah...). Been talking about this for years and here it is in plain text: that pension funds and other assets managed by BlackRock are threatening a stable future because they provide capital for companies responsible for deforestation of tropical rainforests, which adds to global climate disruption.
IsFreeSpeechReal@reddit
And so the woodwork starts to come out...

The following submission statement was provided by /u/Portalrules123:
SS: Related to collapse as BlackRock, one of the largest investment firms on Earth, has been accused of increasing their investments into companies known to be responsible for the destruction of the Amazon and other forests, having both implications on climate change and human rights abuses of the people living in those areas. Systemic because BlackRock is largely built on retirement funds, so the world of today is being destroyed for a future that doesn’t even exist at a massive and systemic level.
