Best Headphones for Gaming, No Microphone

I'm looking for the best headphones I can buy for the main purposes of gaming, and also some light listening to music. I'm not the biggest audiophile but I do like punchy bass for explosions in game and the sort.

I don’t need a microphone as I have an external one which I much prefer.

My price range would ideally be £50.00 - £100.00. The main reason I ask is I am not familiar with many reputable brands. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Also if you recommend I am better checking if a particular headset is cheaper come black friday that would be no issue as I am in no rush to get them.

When it comes to audio, you'll still need to save up a bit to get a truly high-end experience, particularly if you're playing competitive games with sound cues (Call of Duty, Apex, etc). If you are playing those games and want to maximize 3D imaging and detail retrieval (footsteps, etc), bass will only interfere with that. You'll have to decide what matters the most, and then chose based that.
