Assuming this pc is for gaming, you can get better performance for the money. A few points: * The be quiet cooler is expensive - Thermalright dual tower coolers will cool better for half the cost. * 64GB of RAM isn’t needed for gaming. * Samsung drives are expensive and provide 0 benefit in games over other PCIe 4 drives. * 1000w is massive overkill for a system with a 4070 Super.
Suggestions below to upgrade to a 4080 Super plus better airflow/cooling for just $36 more. * CPU Cooler: The Thermalright Pahntom Spirit is half the cost of the Dark Rock Pro 5 but outperforms it. * Memory: 32GB is usually plenty for gaming (outside of a handful of exceptions). * Storage: Far less expensive 2TB PCIe 4 NVME. * Video Card: Upgraded to a 4080 Super. * Case: Less expensive case (even with the added 3-pack of 120mm PWM fans), that will provide better airflow. * Power Supply: Far less expensive 850w ATX 3.0 unit - still plenty for the system.

Really appreciate the insight - optimizing the build for the price is exactly what I was looking for. Regarding the RAM - is going past 32gb really just fluff? Additionally, I got attracted to the name brand for the SSD. Is the general concensus that any brand will suffice for storage? I don't want to risk anything when it comes to losing files, etc.
Thanks again.

Regarding RAM, having more than 32GB is mostly fluff. There are supposedly a handful of games/simulators that can utilize more than 32GB of RAM (for games, mostly because of mods), but they are the rare exception.
Regarding storage: * There’s little benefit to paying the premium for gaming. You won’t notice any difference. The read/write speeds companies put in marketing have little effect on gaming performance. * Brand name does not equate to reliability either. The drive I listed has a 5 year warranty, just like the Samsung drive. Also, the 990 Pro (and 980 Pro) you selected had a pretty well documented case where the drives degraded rapidly, killing the drive health; Samsung had to issue a fix (see this article explaining the issue. * If files are mission critical for you, then you should back up the files.
