[The 4.77 Mhz PCjr web server](
I'm doing a round of extended testing before releasing a new version of mTCP, and I'd appreciate a little bit of traffic from a variety of clients. Use:
- http://brutmanlabs.org/ for the main page
- http://brutmanlabs.org/status to check the server statistics.
The machine specs are:
- Intel 8088 at 4.77Mhz
- jrIDE providing memory from 128KB to 736KB
- 240GB Kingston SSD with a SATA to IDE bridge board
- Bi-directional parallel port side car
- Xircom PE3-10BT Ethernet adapter on the parallel port
- 720KB diskette (an upgrade from the original 360KB drive)
- Upgraded internal power supply
- PC DOS 5 and the mTCP HTTP server
This machine was previously running on a Compact Flash card, but that was too flaky for me. I figure the SSD solution will last my lifetime. (The SSD is crudely hacked into the machine above the floppy drive, and secured with double sided stick tape. I know, that's gross ... but it's good enough for now.)
Thanks!
Mike
