For what it’s worth, I have an 8.5” with a FN CHF barrel and I love it. I couldn’t tell you off the top of my head what difference 2” in 300blk, but if you’re not using it for anything crazy I’m sure the 8.5” would work great for ya. And also ever so slightly easier to suppress (against know the velocity differences off the top of my head) if that matters to you
