Wondering if I should allocate more money to CPU or GPU? I could either get the famed AMD 9800 X3D CPU w/ a Nvidia 4070 Super or go lower end on CPU with the 7600/7700 and get a 4070 Super Ti.
Gaming at 1440p 144Hz and playing games like Elden Ring, BG3, Apex, Deadlock.
May do some media production and coding as well.
Currently leaning towards a Ti+7600. Not sure if the 7700 will benefit me much, same with 9800 I’ve heard it’s more for 1080p gaming than 1440p.
Thanks!

Get a 7600 and a better GPU, drop in an 11800X3D or whatever they call it when that comes out.

GPU should be 50% of total cost.
