High-End PC for ML/Gaming.

Hi everyone,
I'm a recent graduate in machine learning interested in applying ML in video games. I have never built a PC before so please understand that I don't really know what I'm doing. I plan to use this build for:
* Machine Learning
* Video Games
* ML Workflows in Video Game Engines (I think this motivates more than "above average" compute)
I have an attempt for a high-end PC below. I'm also considering waiting for NVidia's 50 series to release instead of going for an RTX 4090. Would greatly appreciate feedback. Money is not an issue, just want to make sure I have a high quality and reliable setup for my needs and that there aren't any technical incompatibilities that could potentially break my setup. Thanks so much!

EDIT:
Meanwhile, is there any reason I shouldn't just purchase a pre-built at this point like:
[Panorama Gamer Desktop PC (NVD GeForce RTX 4090, Intel 24-Core i9-14900KF Processor, 96GB RAM, 2TB NVMe SSD + 12TB HDD, WiFi + BT, Windows 11 Pro) High-Airflow RGB Gaming Computer](https://www.amazon.com/Panorama-PC-i9-14900KF-Processor-High-Airflow/dp/B0CW7DYS3X/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=2XS5BPW3XE8GC&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.DosDvvPvGsEAAlrRcvGTmeiAycbHRsbsGSYxMXlR5j7Wk1ccwqv1qiqUSQ18BDgzk_80eycrqWPmeN_j8yJrzQPQqy643rJRCotmRgGjEPem2fvcA2A-KEmqtpKNKTZcJnN8c-7P3AS35-JsC84jb5Zf30K_KweG2__2z02WEHcXm4PUhjH0cPXTlceN7fJ387wneV4A9TFJI5rYSmYyg0iH7yCf_n79bQ3IzzSxyYE.kDACiuaPMcL0sFxtV99Zp8Z4Ts0N0E0uMJiKD9LNNxE&dib_tag=se&keywords=Corsair%2BPC&qid=1731971947&sprefix=corsair%2Bpc%2Caps%2C344&sr=8-2-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&th=1)

Because you can build this computer for like $1500 less. You dont need a 1500W PSU and there are 4090s that are way cheaper.

Thanks for taking the time to provide this build. Besides getting the NVidia GPU for cheaper and choosing a more appropriate power supply, do you have another thoughts on the build? Also, any thoughts on waiting for the NVidia 50 series?

On the prebuilt or the build you made?
I'm not sure what all the components are in that prebuilt but it's very overpriced. Most prebuilts aren't transparent about what parts they use because they cheap out on everything besides the CPU/GPU. I personally wouldn't buy it since they don't tell you what brands/models they use.
For your build I guess it's fine. The Noctua NH-U12S prob won't be enough for the 14900K full load, so you might wanna get a 360/420 AIO or high end Air Cooler like the NH-D15 G2. Motherboard you chose is also very overpriced. One thing nice about the LGA1700 is there Z790 boards are all fairly cheap so might as well take advantage of that and get a mid-high end board for a fraction of normal cost. You can get a upper mid range board like the Z790 Tomahawk Wifi for $170. There is cheaper ram for the same speed. Cheaper alternative high end SSDs that you can match with a mid range secondary SSD. You can also get a cheaper A tier PSU and a cheaper 4090.
14900K and case is fine though but might wanna get a bigger case for 4090/AIO/Fans if you add those.
