Is it a good build for $2688?

This is the first time I'm building a PC myself, so i've probably missed something. Dear internet, can you please double-check that everything is okay and will work? I'm very much afraid to spend this much money.
Afaik PCPartPicker tells me that all the components are compatible, and that I need 600W of wattage (I got 1000), so theoretically I'm good.
My goal is to have a stable 60 fps in Dota 2 and Baldurs Gate 3 at 1k-2k resolution :S And also to play all the newcoming games in 60 fps or higher in a near future (5 years or so)
Is everything compatible? Do I have enough cooling, power supply? Do I need cooling for my SSD? Did I spend my money wisely, or should I switch something up? I can spend some more money if there's an obvious better option. That's a lot of questions, but thx a lot again.
P.s. you Americans are lucky that your parts are so cheap. Here in Serbia it costs me not $2688, but $3603. Also my salary is much smaller, I'm a fellow software engineer!!! It's kinda not fair! I gotta break into Faang! :P

If by this you mean 1440p(2560 x 1440 pixels) then that monitor is terrible value for you it only has 60hz even if your pc has power to run 200fps your monitor will limit it to 60fps only reason it costs so much is due to 4k. Find a 1440p monitor with atleast 144hz it's both cheaper and better for you
I can't really say much about future proofing cause many recent triple A games have had terrible optimization

$3600 for this is wild. But if that’s the environment you’re in then it is what it is. 4080 super is great, the rest of the build seems fine. You could probably save some money.

I wanted to spend more money to make my build more future proof I guess. To make it work for longer years. Even though I've seen that people suggest to not do that usually.
Or do you think it's more money wise to buy less expensive components, but to change them more frequently, rather than buying expensive components but changing them less frequently? Is it a mistake on my part? My main goal is to play all the new games in 60fps

i think he meant for like ram, power supply, monitor, etc. there’s cheaper options with the same if not better specs.

It is much better value for your money to upgrade midrange or upper midrange parts every 3 or 4 years rather than spend a ton of money for the most expensive ones and wait 7 years in between. The most high end parts are nearly always a bad value, and usually whatever was the "best" a few years ago ends up being comparable to the newer upper midrange in a few years.
The biggest problem with this build is that you're spending more than $500 on a 60Hz monitor. Plenty of 4K 60Hz monitors are closer to $200. Also, for gaming there is quite a noticeable improvement from 60FPS to at least 100FPS, and I would argue that you and most people would be better served by a 1440p 144Hz+ monitor, which are also often around $200.
I would only go 4K if you either:
Don't game much and do lots of work that takes lots of screen space like video/photo/audio editing, or coding, or other things with lots of documents open at once.
Have tons of money to spend on both a 4K 144Hz monitor for $500+ *and* a 4090 for $2000 that can actually consistently run games at higher framerates at 4K. At that price you should also definitely get the 9800X3D for not much more

2600?

$2700 without a 9800x3d and 4090 makes no sense

Газда, прејака ти је ово кофигурација ако ти треба само за доту и балдура на 2к са 60 фрејма. Али ако имаш кеша и волиш, само напред.

Sorry, I don't speak Serbian, I'm from Russia initially. But I've translated your message.
Yeah, maybe it's too strong, but I'd also consider having over 60k fps. Also Id like to not upgrade my pc frequently. I know that we can't build future proof, but it will reduce the risk of the necessary upgrade

I would say just spent the extra bucks and get the 9800x3d
