I have like a 20-year-old set of creative sound works 4.1 speakers. Two front channels, two back channels and a subwoofer.

When I bought them and as it stands in my new house, I never really figured out somewhere to put the rear channel speakers where it made sense. They basically ended up, sitting almost directly to the left, and the right of me which made them pointless. They put out great sound but I’m thinking about maybe getting a new set of 2.1 speakers so that I only have the two speakers in front of me which make the most sense and the big base subwoofer on the floor in front of my feet.

So I’m looking for recommendations. I’d like to keep them small, preferably 6 inches at max give or take… So like the height of an iPhone 13…For the two main speakers that sit on the desk.

I was looking at the logitech Z623 and the Kkipsvh pro media 2.1. Anybody have any other suggestions? Looking at maybe a ceiling of $300 CAD/$225USD
