Currently a i7-9700k and looking for an upgrade. I recently started editing more advanced video codecs and my system is suffering. I'm also getting 2x32gb of DDR5 RAM alongside (and also the mandatory upgrade for mobo, cooling and so on). Besides editing, I also game a bit, basic 1080p medium (maybe high) settings, Call of Duty, Elden Ring and other mainstream games.

I have no clue about hardware but currently my options (maybe?) are all intel (I dont wante AMD, had bad experiences in the past) i5 13600k, i7 13700k and i9 12900k. I would also want this to be a long-ish term upgrade, and Im considering getting the RTX 4060 (or similar, like 3060 ti or 3070?) in the future, so I would like a CPU that works well with that too.
