If you had a friend who wanted to learn to code and was completely domain agnostic, where would you point them to?

in the spirit of gathering information and reviewing learning resources, I was curious about this.
There are some places that are "the place" to go to learn something specific but a few languages, domains don't quite have a resource that dominant yet.
Like Freecodecamp for Web Development or Helsinki for what used to be their amazing Java course. C++ has a fantastic learning resource in learncpp.com.
If you or someone you knew wanted to learn to code for the purposes of a hobbiest level or possibly more, what would the single best resource(s) you would recommend - if they were completely agnostic to what domain it was working in? They dont care if it's web development, cell phones or your microwave.
Where do you send'em?

Probably CS50 from Harvard, the vourse is good and easy to digest as it teaches you from the very basic avout how computers work before throwing you to code. Also it has a good community on discord to help you with exercises.

I'd point them to the Frequently Asked Questions here that you should have comsulted instead of directly posting.
