What's a cheap but decent mens aftershave?

Looking for a cheap but decent men's aftershave for a christmas gift. I'm clueless with men's fragrance, but I only have a small budget to work with. All help appreciated 🙂

Pick up some Tommy hilfinger down the Norwich covered market.

Cuppa beans?

How much is a small budget?

£20-30. It's not someone I know very well, and I'm only used to buying women's perfumes lol

Loop for £25. Try Debenhams, Super Drug,, The Perfume Shop
bigdipper2018@reddit
Personally for that amount I’d look to go grab a selection of samples / travel sized bottles of a top quality brand.
Le Labo Tom Ford Penhaligons
I’d love to receive a few taster sets of these.

I've seen a versace mini set, but not sure what they smell like? I think I may risk it and hope for the best 😂 if he doesn't like them, then he'll also have some socks and an advent calendar, so he'll still have something 😂

I like a bit of Leo Labo but their testers aren't cheap or easy to get hold of.
My daughter found some hotel sets on ebay.

Diesel fuel for life
Smells great and it's within your range.
I used to wear it for work and got plenty of comments on the smell.

Diesel fuel for life is legendary. The "Use with caution on the bottle" isn't joking.

I've used Brut for nearly 50 years. It's citrus-y, but clean and masculine.

This or Old Spice
RevolutionaryPace167@reddit
I love Old Spice, my Dad used to use it.

Smell like a man, man ad nauseum

Google Oud perfumes. A whole branch opens up and is interesting. There’s endless reviews and people on forums who love scent trying and sampling with reviews. Can be really impressive.
zillapz1989@reddit
It very much depends on the man's age.
A few I liked over the years
TheWeirdDude-247@reddit
Another for NEXT.
Been using them years as a back up in car and cheap enough at around £15 -£18, they also do sets for iirc £25, it's the best and safest option.

As someone that’s been wearing Penhaligon and Le Labo solidly for the last decade, I thought M&S own brand stuff was really good. Bought one after buying the little sample set.

Zara do good, cheap aftershaves. Good selection to choose from too

Anything by issay miyaki is normally okay and fairly priced, Mont Blanc range is also nice and not too pricey, I’ve been using perfumers choice no 9 victor which is super cheap from Amazon for £13 and is a copy of creed aventus and used it for a few years now when at work and had tonnes of compliments. I currently use victor rolf-spice bomb but only for special occasions as it’s a bit pricey, good if you can get it on sale though.

Next do a decent range for a tenner.
lovely-luscious-lube@reddit
+1 for Next. Cheapish, but good quality and doesn’t smell cheap or tacky.
RustyCuffs@reddit
Next - Code Red it’s my work aftershave and gets more compliments than most my expensive ones so I always have a bottle in my gym or work bag. And it’s less than £20
fletch3059@reddit
At that price you can't go wrong with Next aftershave. Anything branded will be a bit crappy or very small at that price. Personally I like signature or aqua but you might find the small sample packs a better mix.

Next/ m&s own brand are actually very good, and i often chose them over my designer one

Get a dupe of something from Good Scents or The Essence Vault etc.
I've used Lost Cherry for years but the dupe is close enough to not waste a small fortune on the real stuff anymore.

I'm a scent snob. However my current daily favourite is an old fashioned Prorazo barbershop cologne I got from tkmaxx for £10
HeavyWardrobes@reddit
Zara do a nice selection for within your budget :)
NeekFromTheStreets@reddit
Zara have got a really good range online.
Failing that, Noted Aromas and get the Baccarat Rouge ripoff. Smells outstanding.

You can’t go wrong with Armani Men’s aftershave. Emporio Armani He has been a favourite of mine for years. Would probably cost about £35 a bottle.
