I am currently looking at building a new PC, I built my last, approaching 10 years ago so whatever I go with is going to be a massive upgrade. I am not a complete idiot when it comes to building (I did build my last PC and its still going now!!) but also would prefer the advice of people who know a lot more than me in this area.

As above my current specs are old... Nvidia 980Ti GPU / Intel i5 6600K CPU.

The only salvageable part may be my RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 16BG 3200MHz which I bought in 2022 and still shows 11GB available but by no means am I bothered about keeping this as I have seen that MicroATX motherboards seem to be more popular these days and I would be buying a fresh 16/32BG anyway if only 2 slots.

My Monitor is the ASUS ROG PG278Q which native res is 2560 x 1440 and it would be nice to actually game in 1440p but not a must.

The GPU's I have looked at mostly are 4070 super or 7900XT but again I am open to whatever is recommended, my budget is around £1200(GBP) at most but it can be less.

The games I play arent usually that high end- Warzone/League/Valorant/Tarkov but I am considering branching out in the gaming field with a new set up.

Only preference would be a smaller case set up but again not a must.
