7800x3d alternatives

I’m looking into building a sff pc this Black Friday season. But the 7800x3d is sold out everywhere unless it’s in a bundle at micro center or along those limiting factors. And I wanna primarily purchase at Best Buy, they have the 9700x, 7950x3d. Are these good alternatives? Other recommendations? Not too familiar with the names and stuff so lost with what I’m comparable. I know the 7800x3d is king but can’t find it anywhere.

9800x3D is the king.

7950x3d is not great, x3d cache is not on all cores.
9700x is fine if you want to go cheap temporarily, and honestly, it's probably fine. Aint like it's going to hold back any games.

7950x3d not great? It's literally at least as good as a 7800x3d if you specify the CCD and better as it can dedicate just those cores to gaming and the rest to OS/background bullshit. It's a killer hybrid productivity gaming option as is the 7900x3d.

Barring the current 9800x3d even at their worst, the 7900x3d and 7950x3d are still among the best gaming CPUs on the planet.

And no coreparking isn't an issue anymore nor is ccd latency - which could easily be fixed within less than 5 minutes by anyone who even deserves the title of enthusiast.
