So I have a b450 gaming plus msi motherboard with m.2 pcie slot and I've just bought a new crucial P3 plus gen4 m.2 and installed it, however when i turn the pc on it doesn't load anything, doesn't even get to a screen where im able to open the bios. When i take the m.2 out it open into the bios fine but when i put it back in it just loads to a blank black screen. I know the motherboard is has a gen3 slot but m.2's are supposed to work fine in older generation slots just will slower speeds. I've tried taking out my other drives sata ports but nothing seems to work.
