Assuming I can go anywhere from £200-700 for the upgrade, could i get some option recommendations please? I have a RTX 3080 to pair it with, and I like all games including CPU heavy ones like late game Rimworld, Total War etc.

I am not tied to AMD, coming from my old sandy bridge 4790K which was an absolute workhorse for so long, I've been somewhat underwhelmed by the 5600x.
