Fibromyalgia and First Class Medical?

Hi, everyone!
I'm currently a flight attendant that is looking to transition to the front. I have fibromyalgia and currently take gabapentin on a daily basis. As far as I'm concerned, this will not be allowed even though it's not for the treatment of seizures and my medical team agrees it actually helps my mental cognition. Are there any pilots with fibro? What are you doing to manage your symptoms?

I take Cymbalta, Tumeric, and 500mgs. of Ibuprofen. Keep off the heavy stuff. Good luck.

Looks like Cymbalta is going to be my option. Hoping it's not too terrible a transition. A
