What’s the going rate for window cleaning at the moment?

Had the window cleaner turn up today, I nearly fell of my chair when he posted the bill through the door.
We’ve do have a decent number of windows. Looking at the doorbell footage he was here 30 minutes, 45 quid! Don’t begrudge paying a fair amount at all, but this strikes me as somewhat high end?

£12 every four weeks though we give him £15 because he does a good job.
Takes them all of 10 minutes though

I used to clean windows for a living (ok, it was nearly 2 decades agao, now), and I just gave birth to a kitten, seeing how much cleaners are charging these days...
Kitchen_Owl_8518@reddit
£30 every 8 weeks. The guy came to the house last week and I signed up. I will reserve judgement until they've paid their first visit. 3 bed semi in South East.
cuppachuppa@reddit
£35 in Hertfordshire for a house with about twenty windows.

This seems about the closest to what we have. A quick count puts us at 18 windows plus 3 4-pane bifolds, so not a million miles away.
Thank you

You can buy a rube with a retractable long pile and a built-in eclectical sucker/ scraper. Easy to use. And 2 washes boys the machine. I use mine on any surface

Others around charge more. I only asked him as he does my neighbours and he seemed like a nice bloke. Thought it would cost a bit more than but I'm not complaining.

As with all the other posts on the same topic I remain baffled by the people who give the number of bedrooms but not the number of windows which is the relevant part.
Anyway: £20 East Anglia, 8 windows, one door and a 3m x 4m conservatory.
Unfair_Original_2536@reddit
